Introduction to Global Oil Supply is an online training course that provides an introduction to the supply side of the global market for petroleum liquids. You’ll learn about the different types of liquids - conventional and unconventional crude oil, condensate, natural gas liquids and so on - that contribute to global supply, and where they come from. We will review the main oil producing regions and the roles of OPEC and non-OPEC producers, and of governments, national oil companies and independent oil companies. You’ll learn about important recent and likely future trends in oil production, including the importance of unconventional shale and oil sands resources.
